Elite Soccer 2009 Year In Review


» Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leaders
The Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leadership program completed it first year in the summer of 2009 with 22 Aces players age U12-U18. The program has now grown to 29 Aces players in its second year.

» Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leaders Shoe Drive
The Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leadership program collected over 1,350 pairs of new or gently used shoes to donate to charity during the summer of 2009.


» Elite Soccer- Aces Youth Leaders Toy Drive
The Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leadership program collected over 500 toys to donate to "Rosie's Toy Chest" during the winter of 2009.

» Elite Soccer Parent Council
Elite Soccer began its first year of the Elite Soccer Parent Council during 2009.

» Elite Soccer Parent Council Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Elite Soccer Parent Council organized a food drive in the Arlington Heights community and collected 57 baskets of food and over $900 in gift cards to donate to the Wheeling Township Food Pantry during the fall of 2009.

Elite Soccer Bridge to Aces

Elite Soccer began its first year of the Bridge to the Aces program in the fall of 2009, and over 100 players participated in the fall and winter programs in 2009.

» Elite Soccer Pre-K Soccer
Elite Soccer finished its second full year of the Pre-K Soccer Program in 2009.  Over 600 players participated in the Elite Soccer Pre-K Soccer program during the spring, fall, and winter of 2009.

» Arlington Aces Academy
The Arlington Aces Academy program began its fourth year in the fall of 2009.  The program grew to 30 teams for the 2009-2010 season, with over 400 players currently participating in the Aces Academy Program.

» Arlington Aces Alumni

There are currently four former Arlington Aces Academy players who are playing college soccer in 2009.

» Elite Soccer Staff

Elite Soccer is very excited to continue to work with a great group of staff members who are dedicated to serving the greater Arlington Heights community.  During the 2009 year over 50 staff members worked with Elite Soccer throughout the various Aces teams, camps, and programs. We are excited to have added new staff coaches Chris Berena, Wes Black, Bryan Mancill, and Matt Meyer during the year.

» Elite Soccer Summer Camps
Elite Soccer finished its twelfth year of summer camps this year, with over 450 players participating in Elite Soccer Summer Camps during 2009.

» Elite Soccer Summer Camp Donations
Elite Soccer is proud to be able to give back to the community by donating over 25 FREE Summer Camp Registration during 2009 to local schools, churches, and community groups.

» Elite Soccer- Aces Soccer School

During 2009 Elite Soccer completed its first season of the winter Aces Soccer School programs, and have begun the second season this winter.  During 2009 over 400 players participated in the Elite Soccer- Aces Soccer School.

» Elite Soccer FREE House League Trainings
Elite Soccer partnered with the Arlington Heights Park District to provide 12 FREE training session to K-2nd grade AH House League soccer teams during 2009.

» Elite Soccer FREE House League Clinic
Elite Soccer finished its third year of FREE House League clinics with the Arlington Heights Park District.  During 2009 over 100 players participated in these FREE clinics.


» Elite Soccer Goalkeeper Clinic
Elite Soccer finished its sixth year of the Goalkeeper Clinic, which provides Goalkeeper training opportunities to over 700 players in the Aces Soccer Club.

» Elite Soccer Aces Kick-Off Day
Elite Soccer and the AHPD hosted the first ever Aces Kick-Off day, with over 200 players and family members from the Aces Soccer Club attending on August 1st, 2009.

» Elite Soccer Aces Age Group Camps
Elite Soccer finished its third year of Age Group camps for the Arlington Aces Soccer Club players.  Over 450 players participated in the Age Group Camps in 2009.
