Aces Youth Leaders- Toy Drive 2009 Rosie Colucci is an amazing 5 year old girl who has Neurofibromatosis (NF1). Rosie came up with a great project idea to make the holidays a little easier for her friends in the hospital. The annual project is called “Rosie’s Toy Chest” where Rosie collects toys for her friends at Children’s Memorial Hospital and other local hospitals. This year the Elite Soccer Aces Youth Leaders were able to raise over 500 different kinds of toys such as dolls, stuffed animals, arts and crafts, board games, and many other great toys. Aces Youth Leaders- Shoe Drive 2009 On August 11, fourteen Aces Youth Leaders compiled, sorted, cleaned and packed 1,350 pairs of shoes to be given to the Share Your Soles organization. After 4 hours of hard work, the Youth Leaders and program directors Stein Garcia and Kevin Love packed up a hefty U-Haul truck and drove down to Alsip, IL, the Share Your Soles processing center and warehouse.
