Fall 2007 Season Archives

Congratulations to the following teams for winning the IWSL Fall 2007 Sportsmanship Award:

U11 Girls Academy Premier and Coach Kevin Love
U17 Girls Academy and Coach Andy Steele

 

Congratulations to the U14 Boys Aces Academy Select Team and Coach Kevin Love for winning the 2007 NISL Silver II Division Championship.  They finished the league undefeated at 8-0-2, scoring an unbelievable 48 goals.

 

Congratulations to the U18 Girls Aces Academy Team and Coach Stein Garcia for winning the 2007 IWSL A Liga Division Championship.  They finished the league 8-1-1 and overall 12-2-4 scoring an amazing 43 goals.

 

Congratulations to the U14 Boys Aces Academy Team and Coach Stein Garcia for winning the NISL Classic 2 Division Championship.  They finished the league 9-1 and overall 15-2-1 for the season.

 

Congratulations to Andy Steele and the U11 Boys Academy Team for winning the Octoberfest Classic Tournament Championship in Libertyville.  Great effort boys!!!

Congratulations to Julie Johnston and the U10 Girls Academy Team for finishing in 2nd place at the Octoberfest Classic Tournament in Libertyville.  Terrific Job Girls!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Jamee McBride and the U14 Girls Academy team for finishing 2nd in the Best of Midwest Tourney in Hebron, IN.  The team defeated the Chicago Fire Juniors Premier 5-0, tied the IN Wildcats 2-2, defeated CLASC (Chicago Lakefront) 2-0, and Noblesville Rowdies 3-0. 

KC Futura FC Hurricanes took home the title after a tight 1-1 game that was settled in PKs. The team remains 10-0-3 in regulation play.  Great Job Girls!!! Keep up the hard work!!!

Congratulations to Jamee McBride and the U14 Girls Academy Team for winning the Palatine Celtic Cup Championship. 

In the preliminary games they defeated FC United 3-0, Kickers United 3-0, Livonia Meteors 3-1, and Team Evanston 5-0.  In the championship they defeated CA United 2-1 in overtime.  GREAT JOB GIRLS!!!

Congratulations to Stein Garcia and the U14 Boys Academy Team for winning the Schwaben Youth Soccer Tournament Championship.

In the preliminary games they defeated Schwaben Olympic 5-3, Inter FC 2-0, and Parkland 2-0.  In the final against Schwaben Nationals the Aces went down a goal early.  But in the last 2 minutes of regulation, Brian Nelms ripped a 40 yard shot to sent it into PKs.  The Aces converting 3 PKs by Yuske Kanada, Alex Mascipinto, and Matt Brant.  While the GK Brad Reibel stopped 3 shots to secure the title in an incredible comeback.
